For our friends in Brisvegas, China Eastern (MU) is offering return flights to London Gatwick for $748 in Y. I’ve found a few dates in May/June for those that want to spend a summer in the UK and yes I can hear the groaning and mumbling now about MU but personally I don’t think they are that bad and for people on a budget it’s a great price for a full service airline. Flights are all on their A330 and has a stop over at Shanghai both ways with the returning flight having a much longer stay.

For the price, that is pretty hard to beat. I think it's even cheaper than Scoot (to TXL).
