Moving AirPoints - Value for Money

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question, anyone worked out a way (don't think there is) to move airpoints into another frequent flyer program?
I've got a heap of points, and no longer really using Air NZ, and want to use them..?

If i can't transfer them, whats the best way to use them?

Thoughts?

You could redeem flights on partner airlines... although the amounts of A$ required are pretty substantial!!!

You cannot move them to another program; only redeem.

Spending Airpoints*Dollars - Airpoints - Air*New*Zealand - Australia Site

You can redeem them on NZ and DJ flights and direct Hotel and car hire bookings.

Very poor value IMHO.

Best value is for upgrades, but harder to get with no status.
