No surprises for me except finding Slovenia on this list:

Certainly encountered no hassles during our times in Slovenia. Mrs RB (a horse lover) got a bit of a shock during our first trip when we encountered the Hot Horse restaurant in Ljubljana

Never had problems in Japan and Canada. You could leave your luggage out in public and come back to see it still there. It used to be nobody locked their doors in Canada.

Why is Slovenia a surprise? It's known as a small, peaceful, mostly rural country where nothing much happens.
