We were totally spoilt in our apartment here in 2011 but alas this year the apartment with the big terrace is being used by the owners. So this year we end up in apartment 1 with a bright, airy space with 2 Juliet balconies looking straight over the Mosel. There are no flood worries here, the separate shower & separate toilet are comfortable & there is a good sized fridge & a general kitchen that will cater for our minimal needs. We are right in the centre of town surrounded by endless restaurants & bars-but also crowds compared to what we have been experiencing-although the numbers ease overnight-Saturday proves to be the only crowded day. A quirky discovery is that hot water runs through the toilet cistern. We are able to use the washing machine & also are supplied with freshly baked buns & pastries 1 morning.
I certainly wouldn't have the colour scheme or bedhead at home but it is a very comfortable, well located apartment with good soundproofing
