More TT delays

Sounds like they’re learning:

Ms Regan said the airline had been able to accommodate as many people as possible on other Tiger flights, free of charge, and it also offered to pay for flights with other airlines if its flights were full.

I think the TT spokesperson quoted in the article was a little disingenuous saying a couple of flights were delayed.I looked at the MEL airport site this morning.Of the 4 TT arrivals 2 were over an hour late. There were already 6 others showing a delay-3 for more than an hour. The TT HBA-MEL flight that is due in at 2120 was showing 0300 tomorrow.
Rechecking now and the MKY flight is 8 hours late,MCY-3,OOL-4 and 2 plus 2 flights from SYD cancelled.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when I read that bit, and I think it's fair enough too...

If you miss your flight due to your fault (even if it was outside your control) and your on a LCC, then bad luck. But if the LCC has a fault with it's planes or systems I don't know how they could get away with saying "well bad luck, your on your own".
