From the thread title, I thought this article was about people who put up a big stink (or DYKWIA attitude) at check-in getting rock bottom premium class prices! Kind of the opposite of the times gone by when the suave flirty attitude with excellent attire gave you a fair chance at getting the upgrade.

Overall, not entirely surprising, except possibly sobering to find that CX and SQ are appearing to also "feel the pinch", when traditionally they fly in the face of such adverse reactions to the market and certainly much against the tide followed by QF and many other Western world carriers.

Well if SQ have empty J/C seats all they have to do is open them up to USDM redemptions and i'm sure they'd have a few more BIS and be earning something out of them....

not surprising really as both SQ and CX long haul networks are heavily weighted to Europe and US (CX much more so), always good for redemptions and MRs
