In the past, QF points from my Avis rental usually post with 2-3 days of returning the car. This time, more than 10 have elapsed and nothing so far...who do I approach regarding this? In the past I have just emailed qantas at [email protected] with the necessay documents but the QF website suggests I should be contacting Avis directly...which is correct?

We followed up on a couple of bookings taking ages to post and was assured by Avis the FF number was on the booking and would post eventually, which they did. We have used Avis a few times and it seems they take anywhere from a few days to a month and everything in between. As you have discovered they do seem to eventually come through.

My recent rentals at ASP and BNE posted a week or so afterwards.

A rental at BKK more than five weeks ago still hasn't posted. I stupidly assumed that as I'd booked via the Avis website with my details there wouldn't be a problem and it would work just as well as my domestic rentals. I think I saw somewhere on the T&C that the QFF card has to be presented at the beginning; maybe things work differently at overseas offices. I've sent them a request for the claim...

My last two Avis rentals have posted 10 days after I returned the car.

I had two US rentals August 2012 which posted without showing my QFF card or having to follow up.
