I am considering being on the Inagural QF A380 flight as its on sale!. But I could only do this if I could get back home the next day, ie-the Tuesday 21st

Is there a minimum stay in the USA? Would it be possible to fly in on 20th, return on 21st? Or will their Rules and Regulations not allow me?

There are only a few things I can think of which could affect this:

- Conditions of airfare. Some airfares have minimum stay conditions (eg 3 days, or 7 days). Check the rules/conditions available when looking at the ticket.
- US Border Security. While they have no ''minimum length' you're required to stay, they may want justification as to why the trip is so short. (And ditto for Immigration/Customs back in Australia)
- Your general health. Ie if you can put up with the extended amounts of flying.

EDIT- I would stay the night, returning on the Tuesday. Otherwise I would just fall asleep in the middle if the Airport..

Cause I have a HSC to complete I cant stay long, plus I only have JUST enough $$$ for the return fare plus any additional expenses.

This is called doing a double inaugural flight. I think Kiwi Flyer has done something like this before.

This is a great trip report about some flyertalkers who flew the worlds longest flight in both directions, SIN-EWR-SIN.

That should give you an idea of what to expect.

And firsttofly.net is a group of people that have done this several times.
