Perfect, thank you!

Wow, so beautifully written - I'm drawn in and captivated !Before there were camels, there was Malta. And before Morocco had a chance to dazzle us, confuse us, or possibly rearrange our luggage and expectations, there was Lisbon, where we are now, sitting in a hotel so beautiful it has already earned its own paragraph. I love reading back over old travel reports, not because they are polished pieces of literature, but because they catch the little things I would otherwise forget: the first impressions, the wrong turns, the hotel breakfasts, the views from a window, the moments that seemed ordinary at the time and then became the trip. So this is where the Morocco story begins, so not in Morocco at all, but with a preliminary wander through Malta and Lisbon, before the desert, before the oasis, and well before we discover whether the camels know any of the words.
It’s the first night of the Land Tour so that’s a yes.Have you booked dinner at Ricks Cafe?
I had help. We have an author in the family and it isn’t me.Wow, so beautifully written - I'm drawn in and captivated !

Morocco
Am struggling with that already. The bit I'm waiting for. One tip - if you go to a restaurant, beware enormous serving sizes. Often it'll be 3-4 'courses' - each large!
well I was going to post something while in that weird time of packed and waiting for taxi but now there's this to read. They don't mention it in their guide, but of course will tell you about it on tour - Jemaa el-Fnaa in Marrakesh
The greatest highlight in Marrakesh (IMHO) is the Djemaa el-Fna. A large square, always full of people and a swirling, cosmopolitan, chaotic place to spend some hours in. At night time its probably better, when the food stalls come out in force and families come to eat and socialise. But beware the motorcyclists! They regard the whole square as fair game and there is always the possibility of the crowd parting and one will be coming at you.
The guys in the colourful costumes are water sellers. Then there are the snake charmers - the whole flute and...
