Middle name required for OWA booking?

Having read many previous posts - and Googled - about whether a missing middle name is an issue, I'm fairly reassured that for QF, MH and AY at least it isn't. However I'm seeking advice in relation to Sri Lankan. Sri Lankan apparently has a strict policy regarding tickets and passports matching name for name. We have a OWA booked for next year that includes flights on UL (4 flights) , AY, BA, MH & QF and I'm keen to hear of anyone's experience of the isse with UL in particular. Does it make any differnce that it's a QF-issued (081) ticket? If required would Qantas make the change given that as a reward booking my details were taken from my FF profile and not input by me?
