MH140 granted SYD curfew dispensation tonight

apologies for going slightly OT..i feel that at the very least, flights should be a 24hr operation at SYD, with a limit on the amount of arrivals/departures from 11pm-5am and slots are 'open tender' to airlines (much like gate slots are 'open tender' for airlines at airports)...and the 3 runways could be utilised to minimize 'disruption to peoples lives'!!!...btw the 'quality of life' arguement doesnt hold with me...shift workers 'quality of life' is constantly disrupted by noises of the 'daytime'...so why not 'spread the love' (lol) over 24hrs... and i know that much of the shiftwork population actually live in the surrounding airport suburbs.. we ALL have to adjust/adapt to our changing environment.. (disclaimer: im a shiftworker in wolli creek)

The Welcome to Malaysia Airlines - Experience Award-Winning Malaysian Hospitality | Malaysia Airlines website indicates that MH140 last night pushed back at 2320 in SYD and arrived KUL at 0533, 63 minutes late.

Tonight (Wednesday 4 September 2013) MH141 is just about to land in SYD about 90 minutes late (it is due at 1915 hours). So let's hope it isn't a case of two in a row close curfew shaves for the flight it forms, MH141.

Later update: MH140 tonight (Wed) departed only 11 minutes late ex SYD, so fortunately not a repeat of Tuesday night's problem.
