Hi All,
Looking to book a flight from Australia to the UK and back via MH, however i haven't been able to find any Y fares in economy class?
Im looking for Y as to get SC with Qantas however all im coming across even with flex is H, which is classified under qantas as Discount Eco unless im reading something wrong here :(

With the idea of keeping everything simple for international fares, only Y class seems to be full economy on partner airlines.

Happy wandering

Have you tried a travel agent or calling MH?

Which MH (and just about every other airline) does not sell online. Try a TA and be aware that YY fares will be more expensive than most business class fares.

Hi mate,

Could I suggest a more practical yet less complicated solution? Just proceed to book the standard (cheapest) online fares you can get as per original plans, don't bother with the earn rates. Set your return date to Oz 24hrs later. Then take a day aside and do a status run from KUL-MYY with a 45min turnaround at MYY in business class both ends, this will net you 60 SC's for the grand price of A$453. Saves all the hassle of computing Y earn rates which will be docked the Oz-tax assuming it's all on one itinerary from here. Of course rinse and repeat for each iteration of 60SC's between east-west Malaysia.

Now, if you have more time/inclination, you could do several one-ways KUL-xMYY-BKI, then BKI-xMYY-KUL for 160SC's but I digress. ... ...

Happy travels
