MH Seat Availability

Does anyone know when MH release bulkhead seats in the J mini cabin on the the A380, I called Malaysia call centre today and was told they are blocked for those passengers that require assistance ,but if there are no passengers requiring assistance do they release these seats at a certain time?

The aisle bulkhead seats in the J mini cabin only get released 24 hours before departure I believe. And, even then, you have to call them up to allocate those seats because you can't get them online when you check in.

Just be aware with the J Mini-cabin, I found that row 6 (Bulkhead and where I sat) we were served food, drinks etc last all the time with the main J cabin served first.
Consequently they ran out of both the beef and chicken meals in J!!! In the end after I gave them a polite serving (excuse the pun) they went down to 'first' to get a meal from there, to be honest I think it was just a Y meal plated on a J plate!

On the upside it was nice and quiet in the mini-cabin, but I just felt the main J cabin was given all the attention and first choice of food.

Thanks for the advice I may just stick with the seats we have selected in the main cabin.
