MH Flight Discount J (Z Class) - QF Point Dramas

Recently flew MH from KUL-BKK in Z class and after reading this thread was expecting to have to chase up the points and SC's.

However can report that points were credited to my QFF account 7 days after the flight.

Indeed. Had 2 Z class flights on MH last week. Both flights posted correctly today. No more "discount economy" nonsense, now correctly described as Business Class.

I recently flew MEL-KUL-PEK return on MH in Z class with my QFF # in the booking. All sectors have credited but one pair are showing as "discount economy" but with the correct SC but no cabin bonus points and the other pair as "business" with the correct SC and a cabin bonus - seems very strange that this would happen when it was all booked as one PNR and flown as through flights. Anyway, I will probably get around to finding my BP and claiming my missing points but it seems there are still gremlins in the system.

Thanks to everyone for their advice on this thread. We had problems with three MH Z Class flights (HKG-KUL; KUL-BKI; BKI-HKG) including the initial 'claimed on another scheme' issue that the OP faced. I sent Qantas our itinerary and boarding passes and didn't hear anything for just over a week. However, all points and SCs were correctly credited within a couple of hours of forwarding the MH confirmation letter that had arrived in the meantime.

Is there still problems with Z class J tickets crediting to QF FF accounts? As I'm doing a few MH flights in J and will change my QF status towards the end of my travel. Hope I won't have too much dramas with claiming the SC.

Seems to be so as recently as last month, not much you can do about it short of emailing QFF (and not bothering with an online claim) if it happens.

The points and SCs for my Z class flight last week posted correctly on Monday night (so a week after the flight) - but the description still says "discount economy"

The Y flight from SIN - KUL was correctly described as "economy" and also posted the points and SCs correctly at the same time.

I had MH z class flights from LHR to SYD at the end of October and they posted automatically within a week to my QFF account but it did say Discount Economy. However, the points and the Scs were all correct.

Has anyone seen a "U" class boarding ticket? I did pay for an upgrade from Y to J at counter and is wanting to know if you earn full J QF SC & points according to earnings table?
