Hi guys,

My partner and I have a different booking reference for our flight, I have paid to select a window seat, and I would like her to sit next to me without having to pay for a middle seat.
If we call QF to have our bookings merged, can she get the middle seat next to me without incurring the seat selection fees?

Thanks :)

Unfortunately you cannot merge bookings. They can put a link in but its informational only.

Best check I'm as early as possible together and get seats next to each other (T-80 to select seats online will be your best bet or T-24 for checkin).

As Drewbles has stated, you are not able to merge bookings.

You may get around it by calling QF directly, but I wouldn't hold your breath (I am guessing you are both NB's)

If my partner and I happen to be on separate booking refs, I always phone the airline and ask for the bookings to be linked - you might be lucky then to get out of paying the seat selection fee - but if it was an international sector, I'd pay the fee.
