Looks like QF94 has abandoned their approach to Avalon, and now vectoring back to Melbourne. Going to be very busy for the next hour getting all of the holding aircraft down!

We were on descent when this unfolded, held for about 5mins before making the decision to divert to CBR. With no information about expected landing times we felt the fuel was better off in our tanks than burning holes in the sky and then having to end up diverting to a non company port.
