Hi all

Always a lurker but rarely a poster, now I have one that I hope the forum can help with.
I need to cover four meetings in about ten days, the current itinerary calls for:

Melbourne
Johannesburg
London
Frankfurt
Aarhus (ex Copenhagen)

then the most expeditious way back to Melbourne.

The boss is picking up J all the way so that's nice.
Anyone have a particular suggestion to make this run a bit easier, I'm trying to avoid backtracking as much as possible.

TIA

How many days stop in each location?

I really enjoyed the German ICE from hamburg up to veijle (on the way to Aarhus)

All depends how much time you have in between.

Do you have an airline preference? Is LH ok with you?

They used to fly Frankfurt- Billund - Aarhus (was a seasonal service at times )

And of course you would never have visited Billund?

Hi guys

Thanks all for the replies.
Unfortunately the RTW deal won't work, we are on a very tight timeline with on 24-36 hours in each destination and need to be back in Melbourne ASAP to report.

I guess my only options are to get to the closest hub ex CPH.
EK152 CPH-DXB looks like the likely candidate as long as I don't mind flying through Syrian and Iraqi airspace :(

Hi again

An update on this, we now have a solid schedule

QF SYD-JNB
SA JNB-CPT
LH CPT-MUC
LH MUC-AAR
SK AAR-LGW/LHR not sure which yet
QF LHR-MEL

It is J all the way and I am a QFF, though only Bronze right now :(.

As a J ticket holder do I automatically get some decent lounge access at the various points or do I need to be a Star Alliance / One World high level member as well.

Any help appreciated.

J ticket should get you lounge access. Howwever by QF standards they may not be a "decent lounge"

Also consider the AA FFP instead of QF. QF SYD-JNB and LHR-MEL will be OK for the AA plat challenge. For some people AA is a better FFP than QF

As SA, SK & LH are in Star Alliance what freq flyer program will you put those flights to?
If before 31 March you could put to US Airways. US Airways miles will convert at some time to AA miles

Would there enough mileage on that itinerary to achieve Aegean gold?
