Melbourne Passenger Capacity Issues

I can only imagine the queues for taxi and rideshare on that filthy sidewalk, welcome to Melbs! I was walking down that way last week, it’s just filthy down kerbside. Rubbish everywhere, dirty floors, and then the touting.

Sydney to Melbourne looks fairly sold out tomorrow, cheapest fare is on VA and that’s via LST.

We don't have 'sidewalks' in Oz, they're called 'footpaths.'

But your point is well made. It's the cigarette butts that get me: far worse at MEL outside arrivals than in Melbourne's CBD or many inner suburban shopping strips. Disgusting, despite smoking rates being down to 12 per cent in Australia (does this include vaping?)

Today there are massive delays for inbound international customers, with 25000 passengers scheduled to use the 18 smart gates (more than the QFd side will see). Oh dear
We flew into T2 on Friday on the delayed QF70. Didn’t seem particularly busy - albeit it was my first time ever arriving at T3 - so no point of reference.

Departing T1 for SYD was a little busier than normal. But it was the Friday of a LWE.
