MEL - SFO via LAX, Compass Airline-Dl Connection-Dl Shuttle ??

Hi team,
Quick one. I am looking at travelling from MEL - SFO next September. For every flight from LAX i get the connection offered as Compass Airline-Dl Connection-Dl Shuttle. I had a look online and see that this is a subsidiary of Delta. My questions are
1. Do I have lounge/extra baggage with this from LAX - SFO
2. Do I earn points and status credits with these flights.

1 - Yes to Lounge, not sure about baggage as I rarely check any.

2 - Yes - it's effectivly DL metal with a DL flight number, I have earned in both Economy and First as per the earn table.

I assume you are looking at booking this on one ticket ? If so you would get your VA allowance if booked on the VA code all the way. You would not get any extra allowance if you were booking separate tickets.


As Serfty mentioned, you will earn both points and status on this flight
