Mel qp

Is the Mel QP due for a refit? It looks very tired when compared to Syd, Adl or Per.

Last week I used the showers in there^ for the first time and the walls were moldy and the hair drier was broken and hadn't been tag tested since 2010... Is there a reason why Mel is the poor cousin in the QP world?

^ The showers in the J lounge were occupied, so used QP.

Yes it hurts my eyes for the 5 seconds it takes me to walk through it to get to the oasis of the J lounge

I think it's fine and functional probably due for some new furniture in the next couple years I guess...

I would vote for BNE being the worst... although it may just be because it is impossible to get a seat. Certainly the J lounge is below Mel and Syd standard.

I thought the BNE QP was OK just the J lounge that was/is a problem.

The BNE QP is fine it's the J lounge that is poor and too small for the number of people with access. I usually go into the J lounge to scrounge some of the better food and then move across to the QP.
