Hi,

I'm not sure if any of you knowledgable people can help me or not but, I'm planning the annual family holiday and were doing a few flights but the first leg will be Melbourne to Perth. This will be in early Nov and I'm looking at QF777. I want to upgrade the family to business but I really want them in the internationally configured A330. I know they can change the plane at the last minute but is there anyway to work out what flight they will use the skybed layout?
or have they re-fitted all the A330-200's to the new business layout?
last time I did this and upgraded the family domestically, when ended up in the coughpiest, oldest 767 Qantas owned.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Mick

Considering that only 4 intl 332's, the chances are you will probably end up with a domestic bird. Theqantassource will provide you with a rough guide, but as November is still 8 months or so away, as they say YMMV

There is usually one flight a day operated by the A330-300 which is the international configuration (as they all are)

As for the A330-200's it's a TINY chance you will get the international configuration

Qantas have upgraded NONE of the A330's to their new interiors and that process only starts late this year :(

Certain flights have a better chance of getting the skybed, as theqantassource will show. However the patterns are always subject to change as it seems the intl 332's will be doing more intl flying later in the year.
