Hi guys,
First post here so I apologise if it's in the wrong area. My question is this. My partner and I are flying MEL - DXB then on to Madrid. There were no award J or F seats available to Dubai when booking, so we've had to book economy. However, we are flying F from Dubai to Madrid. Does this grant lounge access when leaving Melbourne? The connecting flights are only 2 hours apart. Arrives DXB at 5:30am and departs for Madrid at 7:35am. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Cheers!

Sorry I should have stated that we are flying with Emirates as a codeshare with Qantas.

Unfortunately I don't think you would get access in MEL (although it can't hurt to ask of course).
