Check-in, security and the J lounge all seem fine. I'll report back on the gates in an hour or so when we board. On the plus side there were practically no queues anywhere.

per news reports seems T4 had some of the water ingress (I saw shots of JQ staff moping away water.. or trying o). Doesn't seem T1 (QF dom) had many issues.

but the fog this morning played havoc. I know a SYD-MEL was diverted to ADL (QF401 iirc), and DFW-MEL also diverted to SYD. Think there were a few others. Well the fog happens....

It was chaotic this morning with fog
Lines out the terminal, tv cameras turned up to film the fun

T3 was a disaster yup, my parents flew out of there this AM. Looked bad crowd wise.

T1 was fine crowd wise being bigger and more bag drop facilities it is always faster, flood wise there was some flooding in the turbo prop apron area apparently - some damaged carpet, but the whole of T1 is under a massive fancy pants refurb, so I’m sure that carpet was going to come up anyway
