One stupid question..

I will be traveling to KL via ADL from Mel..

13/12 - Mel - ADL (Jetstar economy, arriving at about 9pm)
14/12 - ADL to KUL (MAS business, departing at 10am)

My question is can i check in to MAS flight after i landed at the ADL, and head straight to the MAS lounge ?
Or i need to wait for the next day to check in ??

You probably need to wait until the next day to check in. There is no MAS lounge, only the qantas club, which MAS use. That closes overnight so you'll be kicked out before the next morning.

If you are looking for a lounge on arrival, do you hold any Oneworld or qantas status level that will allow you to use the qantas lounge after your jetstar flight?

Medhead, thanks for your prompt reply..unfortunately i dun hold any 'status' :-( so i only can check in the next day..

I'm not 100% sure when you can check in. Perhaps online check might be useful. But I'm pretty sure you also need an invite from MAS to use the lounge. That would then depend on the MAS contract staff/check in desk still being open when you arrive.

However,
The information on the qantas website about the Adelaide lounge says something about connecting on the same day. I suspect the same day connection requirement will work against you.

Sorry I can give a better answer
