Flight leaves BNE at 1:00am, arrives HKG 8:00am ( a 9 hr flight) and finally LON at 3:00pm (a 13 hr flight).
If anyone has done this CX flight, would you recall when the meal times were? I find it annoying when a meal appears in the middle of a sleep.
We are told to set our watches to the destination time and eat/sleep according to that, to reduce jet lag. Do the airlines help us do this re serving meals or at least advise us of meal times upon boarding?

Thanks for your replies.

you will get two meals or a (substantial) snack/supper and meal.

one will be served right after take-off, and the other a couple hours before landing (I believe however cx has a different meal timing for USA flights).

i don't think many airline adhere to the 'set your clock' routine. Many passengers will have been travelling to the airport and hanging around for a while and will be hungry after take-off.

personally I don't do the 'set clock' ... just sleep when tired. I know some people who have tried to do it and then were unable to sleep at the 'required' time. they ended up with no sleep at all!
