Matcha at MEL Dom Qantas lounge

Just started today on June 1, the MEL dom J lounge. Got myself a matcha latte. It's kinda like the coffee, neither great nor bad. Ill take a free one.

The girl was happy to make what I wanted (within reason) and did mention its been quite popular today.

Ha. Just had a matcha latte myself in the Mel QC (didn’t realise today was a first) but it was terrible. Too weak so tasted like milk with a slight matcha flavour. Your pic looks like it was stronger than what we got.

Since its free, and day 1, might need some adjustments. Maybe we need to ask for "extra".

Yeh, she basically said we can just direct them as long as they have the ingredients. Ice matcha, alternative milks, dirty matcha etc.

What do you mean “since it’s free” …. I’ve never paid for any product offered in the QF Domestic J Lounges. Will it move to being a paid product down the track?

As in we can just ask for more matcha powder to be stronger. If its a set recipe at a regular shop they would charge you for adding more matcha, but since its free, we could probably just ask them for more.
