Margaret River and Perth restaurants

Hi brains trust,
Can anyone recommend a good venue for a birthday lunch in Margaret River please?

The catch is we’re looking for something open for Monday lunch.

Was to be later in the week, but circumstances have changed.

Suggestions welcome from all but given I’ve less than 48hrs to find something a ping to the locals: @Daver6 , @JohnM , @Port Power, @cove

Let me ping a local mate down there who I'm sure will have some great recommendations.

Are you looking for specifically in the town of Margaret River or the general wine region? How many people and what sort of experience are you after? Ie, high end winery or something casual?

Finally....48 months? As in four years away?

Monday is still a very difficult day for lunch in WA so I need to hear from Margaret Riverites as we have not been going there recently.
In PERth we would go Epicurean at CrownTowers as many restaurants are closed on Mondays.

Will be a day trip ex. Bunbury with a couple of wineries thrown in, so flexible on location. I will probably have to take the hit as designated driver. 😞

It’s a birthday for a friend of Mrs H, but not a milestone. Looking for sit down, table service. A step up from pub grub if that makes sense.

I’m also open to a splurge.. we are on holiday after all.

Party of four.

Sorry. 48hrs. Typo while googling options on second screen. Now corrected.

But if you can recommend a good place for 2030, can you also take a stab at the lotto numbers 👍

Ok. Challenging. Other than finding a winery that's doing lunch the only thing that springs to mind is Beerfarm. It's super casual, great beers and excellent food but might be a little too casual for what you're after? I rate both the food and wine and if the atmosphere suites the consider that perhaps?

If anything else comes to mind I'll post it.
