Marc Newson joins Apple - Impact on future QF design?

Marc Newson has joined Apple and will work under Jony Ive.

What does this mean for future QF hard product. Apple are notoriously secretive and restrictive on what their employee's can/cant do?

Is this the end of QF's relationship with Marc?

This is my least favourite chair in the domestic biz lounge, especially the swivel version. It doesn't have much back support and i'm always hunched over the table.

I hope the Marc Newson/QF partnership does end, and that he doesn't get replaced. I don't see any reason why they need a special in house designer (especially one whose designs are not fit for purpose).
The same goes for so called "celebrity" chefs.

Having recently tried a Skybed to the UK I can safely say if he designed it, QF would be better served by approaching a tried and tested design from another carrier.

I like his crockery and cutlery though, assuming that's his stuff.

Yep, the CX J seat/bed coughs all over either of the QF Sky Beds. Better to leave seat design to the experts who do it all the time and just tweak the colour of the cloth or something like that.
