I received a notification from QF that an upcoming flight has been retimed, so I went into Manage My Booking to have a look. The only change was the new arrival time was 5 minutes earlier.
But this was when I noticed that Manage My Booking was (and most likely has been always?) displaying the flight duration as simply the difference between the arrival and departure times, without taking into account the time zones in the origin and destination.
For example, 2h 35m for BNE-SYD during daylight savings and 0h 30m for SYD-BNE. Same with the international flights I have on the same booking.
The correct flight duration appears on the QF timetable and also during the booking process, so it looks like it's only within Manage My Booking even though it's not a big issue...
Anyone else noticed this in Manage My Booking for flights between different time zones within Australia or otherwise?
