Malaysian airlines from Brisbane to KL question

Hi guys

Last time i travelled to London from Brisbane via KL we stopped at Sydney, had to disembark and pick up passengers before we went on to KL. Same thing on the way back from london.
Im now trying to book a flight again from Brisbane to London and Malaysian are coming up the cheapest, it doesnt state on the website that the plane will go via Sydney first but i just want to make sure before i book it that it doesnt, coz honestly i could do without that added hassle especially when travelling with a toddler.

Can anyone inform me if Malaysian still go via Sydney from Brisbane?

MH140 is direct BNE to KUL.

MH141 KUL to BNE is via SYD.

thats correct - the direct flight is the night flight
the via sydney is the day flight from KUL

totally understand the toddler thing - we did exactly the same thing - not realising that the flight went via BNE - get off plane at midnight with sleeping kids and wait around an hour and get back on and wake them for take off - now screaming toddlers -:evil:complete nightmare - will never do that again!

Yep complete nightmare is right, just when the kids are settled and sleeping, grrrrrr!!!!!
