Tonight I was looking at www.qantas.com.sg, and I noticed that the Global Deals on the site no longer show ex SIN. It defaults to ex SYD. Upon further playing, I noticed that as you brows the site, it changed from /qualifier-region-as to /qualifier-region-au. This is rather annoying. I managed to get to the ticket purchase stage, but I fear that will not last long.

Anyone know of an anonymous proxy (open) in .sg I can hook off?

Seemed ok when i went via our Australian proxy now.
Could it just be a coding error ?

Qantas recently altered their international web site functionality.

Go to www.qantas.com.au then select "Asia" under "Your Region: ".

I went up unto the last step of the process in booking a one-way SIN-SYD flight for an SGD628 inclusive.

I have been researching airfares in the last few days and have not noticed any issues.

Such a thing happened to me when I tried booking some domestic travel within India on Jet Airway website (9W) It would straight away default to price in US $ rather than INR which is cheaper.

When I wrote a mail to their support team, they asked me to change the 'time zone' on my PC to the India time zone.....Smart programming. Their website used to monitor the time zone on my PC and realising that I was outside the Indian time zone, would charge me by default in US $ fare.

Don't know if QF have done something similar.
