As AFF is a forum for frequent flyers, perhaps a future update of the app could include the option to cache some threads for reading in flight (or when an internet connection is not available).

Similarly, the ability to draft posts 'offline' for submitting when the internet becomes available again.

As a premium feature this could (perhaps) be reserved for paid members?

I am drafting this 30,000' over Swan Hill in notepad, so while it is possible to achieve the same outcome, it is fiddly to cut & paste on the phone, and would be nice to have the forum's formatting tools available (unlike notepad).

Would others find this useful? Does Admin think this would be a good inclusion for the AFF app ?

admin appreciates such feedback and I'm sure will look at what is possible.
I don't know if you are aware that there are major issues with the app as an ongoing product as the current supplier have taken a different path than is suitable for AFF.
Due to my current travels and frequent lack of internet I am not really sure of where the ongoing process is currently at.

All suggestions are welcome, but I suspect it might be a wait to bring such functionality online (or offline as the case may be) :p

First issue is to sort out the app for the community :)

Good suggestion - thank you.

As mentioned in an earlier thread, we are currently in the process of getting a new App developed. I'll discus this suggestion with the developers.
