Hi all,

May go overseas again in June.
Used TID late last year under Alliance(now LOYDS)
Tookout a 4week deal with discount.
Claimed and paid $100 excess.
Have used ANNUAL update thingy as wanted in writing I was covered to the end of week :(

Is it worth going with them again to the same location, USA for around the same time?
Will it be a HIGH Premium due to previous claim?

Any other mob to recommend now?

We have made a claim with TID but werent charged a premium next time. The claim was for a motor bike accident in Thailand, surgery, and repat to Australia for 3 people so pretty expensive for them TID were brilliant in handling everything and provided a translator for the medical reports.

In theory (or simplistically), the premium shouldnt change (unless you're declaring underlying medical condition) as the risks on a new trip should be essentially the same as anyone else undertaking the same trip (ie. in Pushka's example, you shouldnt really be any more likely to have a motorbike accidnet this time purely because you had one last time).

The premium may vary due to change in cost of providing cover, but not related to your past claim.
