No bonus points whatsoever here... might be time to call.

FWIW they said I was 'eligible' when I opened the account.

I called about 2 weeks ago and was told I did not qualify for the promo even though I asked when I activated the card if I still qualified for the promo or not since they delayed approval for so long, they had it "escalated". Received a reply call a few days later saying they have forwarded the QFF request and I should see 20k in my account soon (and the rest other 20k end of Jan next year).

I have applied today and see if I get apporved before the expiry of 13th December. Hope so.

I just checked my QFF account today and the 40K in QFF points appeared. I probably won't renew this card if I end up getting on the Citibank no annual fee for life offer.

I just checked my QFF activity and 20k posted yesterday but with the description "JETSTAR PLATINUM MASTERCARD 02DEC13". Weird? Anyone else get this?

I'm gonna call Macq tonight and see what is happening with the 40k.

Yeah I got all 40k under ""JETSTAR PLATINUM MASTERCARD 02DEC13"" and I did not apply for the Jetstar card nor do I have one. I just assume it's an internal code error but doesn't affect me.

Well first time I've ever been rejected for a credit card or loan. Both citi and amex approved at the same time. No bonus points for me. :(

It doesnt look good on your credit record when you get rejected loan/card applications
The rejection doesn't show on your credit history, just the application itself. Too many applications are bad though.

Got my 20k points a few days ago, "MACQUARIE VISA PLATINUMBONUS 02DEC13".
Question about eligible transactions.
Looking through the T@C's for my new HSBC Qantas Platinum, it clearly says BPAY transactions are NOT eligible.
Now I've thrown out the Macbank T@C's but wondering if its the same.

Applied on or about the 26th of November. Haven't heard anything from them since, nor have they pinged my credit file yet. In the past, when applying for the JQ Mastercard, Macquarie have hit the credit file within a day or two of applying and rejected (despite a perfectly fine credit file) within a week.

When it comes to CC applications, Macquarie truly seems a black box. NAB instantly approved my Qantas Premium CC (helps that I have a 6 year old credit account with them with a minuscule limit that sees a lot of transactions but have never requested a limit increase). Bankwest wouldn't give me a plat card just yet (instead gave me their standard card - not so good with the diminished point earn as well as forex fees) as I've recently changed jobs but upon enquiry, seem to suggest that given the $$ evidenced on my pay slip, a limit increase request "should be successful" once I've been in this job for three months.

Try applying for a Macquarie CC and your application disappears into the ether, they never call you, they never process your application, they never check your credit file and they don't believe you even made the application. Yes, this happened to me early this year.

No they are not excluded as per the T&Cs and I've made BPAY transactions on my MQ Visa Platinum and got QFF points for them.

How long was this after you received your card.

My experience to date has been excellent, applied on the 28/11, a couple of days later, they phoned me and asked me to email latest payslip and I received my card on the 5/12 so all turned around in one week. Hopefully the points will come through with the same efficiency

From activation ... 3 weeks and the initial points were in the QF account.

I've now spent the min required for the next 20k points and will monitor that.
Until they post we will not use the card further.

Had card since early September and ZERO points yet.
Might have to make the call
Anyone waiting longer than that?
