Luggage Storage BNE

Hi all,

I will be arriving into BNE Dom in the morning and then later in the day departing BNE Intl

I have seen on BNE Airport website they have luggage lockers but they don't look like they fit a full size check-in suitcase?

Has anybody used these and can share the experience?

I will most likely have 2-3 full size suitcases (travelling with family).

It isn't listed on the BNE website but i did see on the Luggage Locker website that at BNE Intl they have an actual drop off and store desk.

Has anybody had any experience in this?

I am flying JQ so no check through unfortunately.

From memory they do have full size lockers (but very few) outside the Qantas terminal. You cross the first road from the terminal and in the middle to your left and right are the lockers. It would pay to book them online for the day you want as the biggest ones go first. If you have any queries when using them, there is a phone number to call and someone appears magically from somewhere!

I did notice some at the INT terminal (under the train) on the way out to the carpark on the ground floor.
I remember noticing because they had removed the ones at Roma St which I normally used.
This was late last year.

What flight numbers are you arrivng into and out of BNE on? Were they booked via the QF website, JQ website or two separate bookings?

I gather you want to head into town possibly.

What you could do is on arrival at BNE Domestic, once you have collected your luggage take the free TBus from BNE Domestic to BNE International terminal - you can take your suitcases on this bus - put them in storage at BNE Intl then you can head straight back there after your sortie in to town.

That would save you having to go back to domestic first to retrieve them and take the TBus to international.

If there's three or four in your group you're probably better off dollars wise taking UberX than the Airtrain.
