Does anyone have any experience of 'Luggage Forward' (or any other luggage forwarding company)? Their website has given me what seems like a reasonable quote for sending my skis from Sydney to Japan, but I wonder how reliable they would be in their delivery to a small resort on Hokkaido.

(Last year, for the first time in many years, I was charged a scary amount of excess – before that Qantas had always ignored my ski box & just waved me on to the oversize counter.)
