Hi. I am planning on going to the UK in September/October and shouting myself Business Class.

One of the better deals I found is listed as being with Lufthansa. But the first 2 (long) legs Brisbane to Germany is shown as being on Singapore Airlines flights. So it is a Lufthansa flight number but the plane is Singapore Airlines. Only the last short leg to London is on a Lufthansa plane.

The price difference from booking the Singapore Airlines flights to London is quite significant.

So I am wondering if there is anything 'in the fine print' that I need to be aware of. Or will I still get the full Singapore Airlines service.

TIA

Beyond earn rates for mileage programs possibly differing, you'll get the full SQ experience on an LH codeshare.

(A decade ago, I used a cheap VN J fare to book into an AF codeshare from SGN to CDG; it was $4K from MEL-CDG return, as opposed to $7.5K on AF itself - obviously with better carriers out of Australia.)

Have a look at https://matrix.itasoftware.com to work out if there are other deals going...
