Hi all, this isn't a huge deal as only a few hundred points are at stake, but I was very surprised to find a recent Lufthansa flight (within Europe) was not eligible for KF mileage accrual. It was booked as "Economy Classic", which as you may know is the middle tier of the three Economy fare types offered by LH (the other two being "Economy Light" and "Economy Flex"). All three of these fare types are eligible for LH mileage accrual (the only difference being that Flex earns a 50% bonus), but SQ has advised "Your booking class is not eligible for mileage accrual".

Very odd, as I have previously credited numerous LH Economy Classic flights to KF without problems. Anyone know if something has changed recently?

Interesting anomaly. I've noticed many TG domestic airfares do not earn in KrisFlyer either.

Hi there, LH fare names don't necessarily correspond to fare buckets.
If booking on LH.com you need to pay close attention to the fare bucket (e.g. Y) to be able to work out whether your miles will accrue to a partner airline.
When booking, just look at your itinerary and click "show booking classes".

In any case, try to credit these flights elsewhere (UA, LH etc) so they aren't wasted... you never know when they might come in handy!
