A pretty straight forward question - and I'm sure the answer is in the T&Cs somewhere, I but I can't find ...

If I am LTS (or LTG for that matter), do I just get the benefits recognition or is there allowance of LTS in the annual quest for status? ie Does my annual SC earn still require a full 600 SCs to retain Gold (assuming SG or high previous year) or does the Silver recognition kick-in and I only need 350 SCs to retain Gold?

Presume the answer has a LTG/WP annual retention implication.

Regards,

BD

It is just a benefits thing. I have been LTS for a few years now, but my balance is set to zero at the beginning of each membership year and I need the full 1200 to requalify as WP.

Thought so ... !!

Thanks for the prompt reply, Flying Mermaid.

I'm LTG and fly maybe twice a year these days.

My summary shows the following....

Current Status: Gold Status reassessment will occur: 31 Aug 2014
Status credits earned from 01 Sep 2013: 30
Additional Status credits required by 31 Aug 2014 to attain Platinum: 1,370
Qantas segments flown: 2

You must fly a minimum four eligible flight segments on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar and earn the required status credits to retain/attain during your membership Year
[h=2]Lifetime Recognition[/h]You have attained lifetime Gold recognition.

That will all get zeroed on 31 August and I'm still LTG.
