Just as well the three Alliances share common lounges for member airlines but wondering if there is room for new or expanded lounges, in the event of new airlines coming in or existing one wishing to grow bigger.
 
There may not be too much room left with Macquarie continually trying to add more floor space for the ultimate shopping experience.

That's true but the ideal lounge space would be that overlooking the Tarmac, IMO.
 
VA/EY are adding a shared lounge; no idea where, but they are in the process of building it now, so there is some room obviously.

Well with MH joining One World soon and QF+Emirates impending alliance.. maybe these two airlines will start using QF lounges.. hence making room for more lounges..
