Hi there,

I'm racking my brain trying to decipher the hieroglyphs on the Virgin website regarding lounge access in Sydney, so thought it might be easier to ask the experienced and knowledgeable folk on AFF before I tear my hair out.

Does anybody know what lounge (if any) I will be able to get into travelling in Business this Thursday on Virgin flight VA1.

Cheers in advance!

Thanks for the input, but that does not help at all.

Hey there, for future reference:
- Select 'Business' from the drop down menu if traveling in Business
- Select the airline whom you are flying with (e.g. VA)
- See that in Sydney you have access to the AirNZ lounge except for VA29 which is the Etihad lounge :)

If you select your eligibility to business, select your airline to Virgin Australia and scroll down to your departure city, it will provide your eligible lounge access. Hope that helps.

Yeah I read that, but right at the top of the page, before you select "Business" etc etc it says the following;

Virgin Australia lounge members receive complimentary entry into Air New Zealand's Lounge, when travelling on flights between Australia and New Zealand or within New Zealand. Virgin Australia lounge members are not eligible for pre-departure lounge access on International Long Haul services.

In that case they're referring to paid lounge members, not members of status or fare class.

That's referring to Virgin Australia Lounge members (i.e. people who have purchased lounge membership, but flying in economy). If you are flying Business, then that statement doesn't apply to you and you follow what's in the table!

EDIT: Too quick for me Milefest haha
