Lost status :(

Sadly it appears I have lost my Qantas platinum status. I very much doubt my travel (self funded ) will return to the level of pre Covid
Anyone else in the same boat, as I having lost their airlines status ? I managed to stuff up the one trip required. Yeppers very peeved with myself
Ah well I believe I will be soft landed to Gold.

I am on the Gifted Wheel of Gold but it certainly won't last. I don't plan any OS travel until 2023 and then (hopefully) it will be using SQ points before they expire.

Poor you. I thought I was heading in the same direction, as my QF status page still states I need additional flight to retain my platinum status (despite having travelled in said period). Phoned and apparently all OK. Told me to disregard the details on my status page.

Have you thought about giving a sob story about not being able to travel and planning lots of further travel. It's worth a try

I'm a little concerned about what will happen to my status in Jan. Whilst I'm gold not plat, I had two trip planned (and booked) for this year, in addition to my SC gift, and I needed to cancel both of them.

I saw the whole "just book a single trip between now and your expiry and you'll be fine" email. Only problem with that was we had just gone into lock-down.

I'll see if I can convince QF to keep my SG status, but I'm expecting to fall.
