Lost New Thread

Last night I almost finished typing a new thread and was distracted and left the PC. When I returned although the thread was still on the screen when I went to post the thread the screen went white and I assume I was automatically logged out. I noted when typing the auto save came up. But now I can't retrieve it. Is there a way of retrieving this thread. Where does it get saved too.:?:

Click the "Post New Thread" button and at the bottom left of the content box will be a button that says "Restore Auto-Saved Content". Click it.
