Just booked tickets to Lord Howe using FF Points in September. I ideally wanted to go in November, but to do this by points is simply not possible at this stage of the year 
Not with my schedule anyway.
Has anyone been? Any recommendations on hotels? I haven't picked accommodation yet, but have seen some outrageous pricing for the top resorts...
I am pushing my luck a little with timing of the year, but hope that at the very least there will be a couple of nice Spring days while I am there for a week. Worst case scenario I will relax in the hotel
