Hello there

I'm trying to use my points to book the Jetstar flights DRW-NRT return Dec 31-Jan 06.

I've checked with the QFF 'How many points do you need?' section and it tells me 25k each way. How do I get that deal? When I try to book it just directs me to the normal booking page and I go through the selection process and it comes out at 257k points.

When I go to the Jetstar page I can't find any options to use my points.

This is the first time trying to redeem points into a flight. I have 244k points approx.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Apollo

You are probably booking far too late to get classic awards...there are only limited FF award seats on each flight.

Are you ticking "Search Qantas & Partner Classic Awards"? The 25k figure sounds like it'd be for a classic award. There may or may not be an award available for the particular dates you want.

OK, thanks.
I'll keep on playing around with the different permutations of getting to NRT (via SIN or SYD).
Thanks for the help.

It's very late to book for the holiday season. However a call to QFF is always worthwhile - and a willingness to accept a longer than normal (more than 2 hours) layover on route. By all means try possibilities via SYD/BNE/CNS.

You will need to log in first then book with the show classic awards box checked, there are no awards available until 6 Jan out and end of Jan back.
