I recently upgraded a flight from SYD - AUH. It all worked fine over those phone (albeit there were several times when I was on hold for more than just a few minutes) and the customer service agent told me she would send out a revised itinerary.

This was now a week ago and I haven't received anything, nor has my points balanced dropped.

Has anyone had any experience with this post transition to Sabre and could let me know how long it took for their revised itinerary to come through and the points to be taken from their account?

An hour after my phone call my points balance dropped and I received a new itinerary. I would be calling back to confirm if I was you!

I'd be concerned that your balance hasn't moved. In my two experiences, the points went instantly, but I was 1 for 2 on the updated itinerary. However, those experiences were pre-Sabre.

I'd suggest you call and check.

Thanks for your replies - I just called and checked and have now received my itinerary confirming it all. No advice on why the points haven't been taked yet though!
