I am always getting logged out of the site while posting....I might take 5-10 minutes to upload pics etc then go to post and I am logged out - frustrating.

Can login time be extended? I never have this issue anywhere else on the web.

Are you talking about in the app or through a browser?

In regards to using a browser, I've been logged in for days now...

Via the browser (Safari).

Re: the browser, have you selected 'Remember Me'?

Always select 'remember me' but no effect.

If this happened on every site with a login I would be checking my own settings but this issue is only experience here.

On a mobile device like an iPad/iPhone or on a desktop such as a PC/Mac?

I have checked your profile and there appears to be nothing different from any other profile.

For instance, we have similar settings, i check the "remember me" box and frequently quite my browser or come and go from it after several hours with no change to my logged-in state. For this reason, I believe it to be a browser setting you inadvertently have turned on or off.

If you look at your Safari Preferences, I have all the autofill options turned on (but notably 'user names and passwords'); I have all Security options turned on; in Privacy cookies and websites data is 'allowed from websites I visit', while I don't 'ask websites not to track me'. Those are the settings I would imagine could impact you being logged out prematurely. Private Browsing could also be a cause.

I have tracking turned off but I am not using private browsing. I won't turn on website tracking just for AFF - as I've said I don't have this issue with other sites and stay logged in at least a few hours, some for days. Here at AFF however it must be 10-15mins max before I'm logged out.

Try resetting all your browser settings.. I know for a fact that remember me works on chrome so maybe try a different browser

This happens to me too. Usually I remember to hit ctrl c before I try to post. But I've lost count of the number of brilliant posts I've typed, only to lose them because the system thinks I've taken too long before posting and then I can't be bothered starting again from scratch.

No I don't want to stay logged in.
