Little tornado (my 4yo daughter) has done about 3 YMML-YSSY-YMML legs and a YMML-YBBN-YMML leg

and I am looking at YMML-heathrow-YMML (or Frankfurt... not decided yet) trip (ends up ~5700 for two adults and one kid in october, looking like good value)

she has no QFF membership yet... What does it cost to join? Is it cheaper for her because:
*She is a child
*I have QC Bronze
??

Or can I claim her points as a dependant on my membership?

To earn points she needs her own account. There is no discount for any of those reasons. Best option is to join her up using an overseas address if you have friends living there. Then it is free

in October

If you are not travelling till October..there is no need to rush. As long as she is a member soon after you fly..or just prior.

There are strong rumours that QFF will be free by then.............most likely due to the new relationship with woolworths kicking off in mid-2009.

Or can I claim her points as a dependant on my membership?
No

Hmm thanks for the advice!

What is the sunset clause on unclaimed points... Given the 1K min points on YMML-YSSY there are about 6,000 pts there... nearly a whY fare...
