Got a new job 2 years ago because they offered a 4-day work week, and it has greatly improved my life in so many ways. One of the LTIL is that I have to work on my day off to fill in for someone, which will give me a 4-day weekend the following week. So I booked a No Reason weekend at the Gold Coast with J flights, 5 star accommodation, and car hire, for $150 and a bunch of points.

LTIL - getting an e-mail from Telstra saying I had some business rewards points expiring in 6 months. I was completely oblivious to the accumulation - found I had enough to get a new Apple Watch 9 for 1/4 the cash cost, delivery included. Done. (I know a 10 is coming out soon-ish, but I never wait/go for the latest tech model. My current watch is the 6 series ...)

PayPal. I use them a lot especially where companies don't accept Amex. Just yesterday I was due a refund. Instead of $350 USD I received $50. I immediately set up a dispute as dealing with the international company was a waste of time. Within the hour PayPal escalated the dispute. Today - next day - settled in my favour. I find Amex excellent too.
