HI Guys,

I currently have a Business class flight itin paid for next Tuesday being SYD - BKK, and then BKK - MEL (via SYD). I had it booked this way as i was suppose to be in Syd on the monday for business but this has fallen through so i have since booked a JASA Mel-SYD on the morning of the bangkok flight.

Should i go to the service desk to check this in ? Can they check my bags right through to BKK or do i need to collect in SYD and re check in? Or should i call the WP line and have them link the bookings?

Cheers

Oh and on a slightly separate note, i have a complimentary space available upgrade available to me due to a mess around i got on a flight earlier this year. Do you think its worthwhile upgrading to F on the 747 or saving it and hope to use it on a a380?

You could call the Platinum service desk and ask them to link the PNRs, but it's really not necessary. At check-in in MEL, just show them both etickets and they will be able to check you and bags through to BKK.

Re F upgrade (if available) to BKK - yes, would definitely do it.
